About St. Peters, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Situated in St. Charles County of Missouri, St. Peters is a medium-sized city with an estimated population of more than 52,800 residents, making it the 10th largest city in the state. In 2008, Money magazine named St. Peters the 60th best place to live in the United States, putting it at the top in Missouri.

In the early days, the area of what’s not St. Peters was settled by Mississippian mound builders long before the arrival of Europeans. Founded in the late 18th Century by French Traders, St. Peters soon grew into a vibrant farming community, especially with the arrival of German immigrants from 1830 to 1850.

St. Peters was incorporated as a town in 1910 and remained a farming community for much of the 20th Century.  It had a population of just 486 residents in 1970; however, it increased at a rapid rate to reach 15,700 residents by 1980. Within a span of a decade, the once small rural town changed to a more suburban community.

Rapid growth continued during the 1980’s and the population reached 40,660 residents by 1990. In 1959, St. Peters became a fourth-class city under Missouri Statues, and this new classification allowed bonds to be distributed for water treatment. As of today, the city of St. Peters has a world-class work force and offers a quality of life that is second to none.

The city has an extensive park system with many trails and parks stretching over 1,000 acres. Some prominent outdoor amenities include landscape areas, recreation trails, fishing ponds, playgrounds, athletic fields, pavilions and picnic shelters. Moreover, there are also high-quality civic facilities available to the residents of the city.

It houses Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, the second largest and busiest hospital of the county; the St. Peters Rec-Plex, a mega athletic training and family recreation complex. It also houses the Spencer Road Branch Library, which is the largest library in the St. Charles City-County Library District. There are three public schools and one private school in the city.

St. Peters receives 42 inches of rain and 16 inches of rainfall per year. Since the average high in the summers is around 89 degrees, installing a reliable air conditioning system is crucial to maintain comfort in your home. With the mercury dropping as low as 20 in the winters, having a heat pump can help you make it through cold winter nights.
